DCP Authoring Services

We provide flat rate services for authoring Digital Cinema Packages (DCP) as well as a variety of add-on services. Pricing is based on resolution and duration of the asset. All DCPs are validated via deep inspection and verified on a DCI server prior to delivery. Digital delivery of the completed DCP is included and standard turn around time is 3 business days (Monday-Friday). Rush services can also be requested.

FAQ

Turn around for digital delivery of a DCP is three business days after the origin file is processed. Files received after noon will be processed the next day. If we find that there are issues with the origin file, we will request a new file. Only after receiving a valid file will DCP authoring begin.

If you require a DCP as soon as possible, please contact us by phone. We will work on it outside of normal operating hours (weekend included). Assuming we have a valid file in hand, we will author the DCP and deliver a transfer link within 24 hours or less. Please note that rush services are charged at double our normal rates.

We can work with a variety of files, but we generally recommend H.264 encoded mp4s with maximum bitrates of 250 mb/s.

If an issue is discovered with the authoring of the DCP, we will author and deliver a new DCP free of charge. This is not applicable if the issue is related to the origin file or the distribution of the DCP (e.g. corrupted files from inappropriate storage or transfer solutions).

No. Once the DCP has been authored, we will not issue a refund.
